It seems to be a social hoohaa when one turns 21. I used to think so too. Then I start to wonder, why am I being congratulated for being brought into this world. THEY should be the one receiving the gifts and well wishes. They being my folks. Because literally, without them, I wouldnt even be here; 21 years ago, during that 21 years and 21 years and more to come.
So this year, Im not hoping for extravagant gifts or mega celebrations. I just hope everyone could congratulate not me, but my parents on the coming 12th of April.
