Of singing in the dark...

The Annual Earth Hour was back again last Saturday!

Go GREEN!

It was almost a whole day spent with the MOD gang.. In the afternoon, we were in Sentul for our briefing for our Bangkok trip coming May.. Was my fault that we were late though.. sorry.. :S

Then we headed home to freshen up and get changed for the performance at KKBC aka Kota Kemuning Buddhist Centre.. Sampai sana, we nampak no food d when me, Em, and Jam sudah damn HUNG, we went down to the hawker centre and makan sendiri.. XP

Thw whole event was actually an open MIC's Singing for Haiti. This is to raise funds for HAITI as part of the Haiti Relief Event by local Buddhist Organizations.
This event will is held in conjunction with Earth Hour. We sang in the DARK (surrounded by Candles and lamps). Super hooooooott but had fun and benefit-ed from the event. Thank you Bro.Soon for inviting us!!

It wasnt 8:30pm yet and the place was alrd lit up with hundreds of candles!

There were only 5 of us who attended from MOD + D'Melodians.. We went with white tees and jeans.. Not the best idea for an event where thr'll be NO AIRCOND/FAN for an hour.. :O

So they started the performances with the younger kids to perform..

She sang Twinkle Twinkle Little Stars!! Cute no??

He read a story from the book "Because the bug went Ka-chooo"

The teenagers did a sketch about the environment too!!

He was readin a poem about the enviroment and going GREEN

She sang a song called "Breathless.."

A girl from Sunway sang "Breakaway"

Together they sang one of my favs "Keep holding on.."

It was 9:30 alrd but they didnt turn the lights off yet (luckily they turned on the aircond) before the last performance..

MOD and D'Melodians!!!!

Like i said, it was suuuuper HAWT!! but we still enjoyed ourselves very much..

After the show we managed to convince Em to drive us down in her 5series and we went yumcha while i left my car at Kota Kemuning.. Met up with Roland at USJ and then Em drove us back to KK to get my car and we all headed home.. ;)

Though the whole of MOD and D'melodian wasnt there but it sure was fun!!
