Of Visit from a Dear Friend..

So last week was the Australian Football League Grand Finals where Collingwood Magpies were up against the St Kilda Saints. It was said that it's been awhile or even the first time both Melbourne teams are in the Finals so YEAY! Went to Federation Square which was near my house to watch the match.. PACKED AS HELL yo the place!! With scarfs of black and white & red black and white.. The match was really good and kinda enjoyed myself despite the fact I went thr alone and watched the whole match around strangers.. Still seeing the fans jump and shout and jump on trash cans.. *thumbs up*

After the match I promised Hommies (hsemates) I'd make pizza for dinner so I did! FROM SCRATCH.. Owwwwh Yeaaah.. Awesome like that.. ;)

Epically fail housemate - Marc thought I bought the base and started comparing the base with pizzas we can get from restaurants and says those are better and went on commenting on it till we stopped him and told him "Err.. I made from base.. and thank you.."

Later that week was when a dear friend from Msia who came to visit! Shauna Chow!!

He landed on Tuesday and I spent most of my week over at Emily's where Shaun was staying.. One of the nights when we decided to go out for dinner, Me + Shaun + Ellya + Bernard planned to take the tram out to KFC for dinner.. While walking to the tram stop:

Bernard stopped us and pointed on the floor

Jem bends down and pick up what can be seen as CASH

Jem: "Guys, dinner tonight is free and we are RICH!!!"

What happened was we found $110 on the floor!!! wooohoooo!!

So we made our way to KFC and had dinner courtesy of fate and luck.. ;)

It was rather a good dinner not just the fact we had free dinner but we also managed to get to know more about each other.. Well, more for Shaun getting to know the twins but it was all good.. With moments where me and Ell look at each other and raise our shoulders when the guys were talking bout their computer games; to moments where we talked about relationships.. jolly sweet times.. ;)

On Saturday Emily decided to bring all of us to Werribee Park for one of Shaun's last days here in Aussie.. It's my first time there as well and boy o boy when I say the previous owner of the land/mansion was rich, I'm not even kidding!

Later that night we had tickets to go for a OXAGEN production where Ellya and Bernard's cousin Ary was the Co-founder + President of.. They had a production on musicals that night so all of us planned to SUIT UP! Owh yes we did.. The show was LEGEN-DARY!!! Money well spent without a doubt.. Congrats Ary and co! GoodJobWellDone!
